I totally know how you feel. There’s still such a huge taboo around being a furry. Even though it’s so strong within you, and it’s really a harmless fantasy, people still have such a pre-conceived notion about what that means about you. There are many differing opinions about what it means to be a furry, or to have a fursona, but really it means something different to everyone, and not everyone even knows how to explain it when asked. It’s not something you need be ashamed about, but it’s also definitely something you don’t have to tell everyone. Keep strong, and don’t let anyone tell you you’re something that you’re not. :)
